Do You Offer Free Consultations?
Yes, we offer a free, in-home consultation with one of our interior designers. The purpose of this meeting is to review the space you would like remodeled to determine how best to remodel it with your budget. This meeting is also to allow you to learn more about our team and our capabilities. This consultation normally lasts one to two hours, depending on the size of the project. By the end of the consultation, you’ll have a better understanding of the project design and cost and can decide whether or not you would like to move forward from there.
Do You Have A Showroom?
Yes, we have two design studios. One is located at 310 Sycamore St. Brookville, Ohio, and the other is located at 8143 S. St. Rt. 48 Maineville, Ohio. In our studios, we have all the resources you will need to select your bathroom or kitchen remodel. Please call to set up an appointment to visit as we are often out of the office, providing in-home consultations to our customers.
If I'm Not Sure On The Budget for a Project, Can You Help Me Determine Specific Budget Goals?
Yes, we can help you determine an appropriate budget based on a variety of different options, such as: How long will you be staying in your home? What is the value of your home in comparison to similar homes in your area? How old is your home? How much updating has been done? What you would like to accomplish?
Do You Charge A Fee For Designing Our Space?
Yes, however not all projects require design services. For smaller projects, such as remodeling a half bath or kitchen where the existing layout will stay the same, design work may not be needed. If design work is needed, the fee for our design services is typically 3-5% of the overall project cost, with a minimum of $1,500. This deposit is credited upon contract signing.
Do You Provide Design Services To Prospects Who Will Be Installing Their Own Project Or Hiring An Alternative Contractor To Install The Project?
No, this is not something we do. Our company survives by designing and remodeling spaces for our customers, and we cannot provide enough work for our employees if we are designing projects for other contractors. We love working with out customers from start to finish and seeing the whole project through, so if you are interested in having our experienced team do the work for you, feel free to contact us.
How Does Your Price Compare With Your Competitors?
We have established fair pricing that reflects the quality of work we provide. We involve you in budget decisions with our goal of giving you the best value we can for the dollars you have to spend on your home remodel. But this question really should be answered by our customers. Over 75% of our work each year comes from customer referrals and repeat customers. We truly strive to create homes for our customers that they’ll love and in turn become customers for life.
Who Will Be In My House?
At Kircher Design and Build, we care about our customers and who has access to your home remodeling project, which is why we use our own staff and employees for each project and only use outside contractors when necessary. We will assign an experienced Project Coordinator to your project who will work with you from start to finish. This individual is employed by our firm and will take care of your needs and protect your home during the construction. He will work with the subcontractors, suppliers, project manager, and in-house labor to ensure your remodeling project is safe, protected, and done properly. We provide daily cleanup on each project and keep a neat, safe work site.
How Long Will This Project Take Once You Start?
The length of time on a project depends strictly on the scope of the project. Most of our projects are completed within two to four weeks.
