Does your firm offer free consultations?
Yes, we offer a free in-home consultation. This consultation consists of an interior designer meeting with you in your home. The purpose of the meeting is to review the space to determine how best to remodel it for the established budget. This meeting is also to allow you to learn about our firm and what we can offer. This consultation normally lasts one to two hours, depending on the scope of the proposed project. At the end of the consultation, you should be able to make a decision about whether to move forward to the next step, which could be any number of things, based on the type of project.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes, we have two design studios. One is located at 310 Sycamore St. Brookville, Ohio and the other is located at 8143 S. St. Rt. 48 Maineville, Ohio. In our studios, we have all the resources you will need to select your bathroom or kitchen project. Please call to set up an appointment to visit. We are often out of the office, providing in-home consultations.
I don’t have any idea what a project will cost. Can you help me with specific budget goals?
Yes, we can help you determine an appropriate budget based on many different criteria such as: How long will you be staying in your home? What is the value of your home in comparison to similar homes in your area? How old is your home and how much updating has been done? What you would like to accomplish?
Do you charge a fee for designing our space?
Yes, we do charge a fee for design services. This fee is typically 3%-5% of the overall project cost, with a minimum of $500. This deposit is credited upon contract signing. Keep in mind, not all projects require design services. If you are asking us to simply remodel a hall bath or a kitchen, maintaining the existing layout, then design work may not be necessary to move forward with product selection and a contract.
Do you provide design services to prospects who will be installing their own project or hiring an alternative contractor to install the project?
No, we are a remodeling firm, not an architectural firm. We make our income by remodeling spaces. We do not make enough money to sustain our business by providing design services alone.
How does your price compare?
Apples to apples price comparisons in remodeling are rare. The challenge is that each remodeling firm typically represents different manufacturers, and even various brands made by the same manufacturer. Remodeling should be a satisfying experience from the first consultation through project completion, and beyond. You may have concerns which need to be addressed 5 years after the project is complete. We have established fair pricing that reflects the quality project we provide. We involve you in budget decisions with our goal of giving you the best value we can for the dollars you have available to spend. But this question really should be answered by our customers. Over 75 percent of our work each year comes from customer referrals and repeat customers. We truly strive to keep Customers for Life!
Who will be in my house?
A polite, experienced Project Coordinator is assigned to your project and will stay with it daily from start to finish. This individual is employed by our firm. He will take care of your needs and protect your home during the construction. He will work with the subcontractors, suppliers, Project Manager, and in-house labor to ensure a prompt and high-quality job performance. We provide daily cleanup and keep a neat, safe work site.
How long will this project take after you start?
Length of time depends strictly on the scope of the project. Most of our projects are completed within a 2-4 week period.
